DAVID.COMPUTER

When

DAVID.COMPUTER began as my final project for an HCI class—actually, it was the very last assignment I submitted in college. While I'd always wanted my own website, I never quite knew where to start—sometimes you just need a deadline and some resources to turn ideas into reality. The timing couldn't have been better: not only was this the perfect push I needed, but david.computer—exactly the domain I wanted—was available! I registered it on December 5th, 2024, and submitted the project for grading on December 13th, 2024.

As they say, first you build a home, then you move in. I spent December 2024 focused on building that home: adding functionality, squashing bugs, ensuring everything looked cohesive, and making sure the site worked well on smaller devices. I wanted to create a solid foundation before diving into regular content creation.

Looking ahead to 2025, I'm planning to start posting regularly. While weekly updates would be ideal, I'm starting with a more manageable goal of at least one post per month. After all, building good habits is like building a good website—it's better to start with a solid foundation and grow from there.
